Our team has already completed the most difficult part: vetting all your documents to ensure they are 100% compliant. This guide will walk you through the final, simple steps at the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK).
Your service is now complete on our end, and this guide is designed to make your PSK visit smooth and successful.
⚠️ Must-Bring - Document Checklist
These are mandatory documents.
- Appointment Receipt (ARN): The official "Appointment Confirmation" PDF we have sent to you. A printout is required.
- Original Documents: The exact same original documents you submitted to us via the Google Form
- Self-Attested Copy Set: One photocopy set of all the original documents listed above (Aadhaar, PAN, Marksheet, etc.).
- What is "Self-Attested"?: This simply means you sign your own signature (in blue or black ink) on the bottom of each photocopy page. It shows you are confirming the copy is true.
- Old Passport : If the application is for renewal / re-issue
- If Name Change : Full Newspaper - 2 Copies - Original ( Cuttings will be rejected and appointment will be cancelled if not presented original copies )
🚨 Failing to provide any of the above documents at the PSK will result in the cancellation of your current appointment. We are not responsible if we are unable to book a new reschedule appointment, and applicant will be required to bear the full cost of the application in such a case.
The 3-Step Process: What to Expect Inside the PSK
The PSK is a very organized, token-based system. Your entire visit will likely take 45-90 minutes.
- Step 1: Entry & Token (TCS Counter)
- Arrive at the PSK 15 minutes before your appointment time.
- You will show your Appointment Receipt to enter.
- Inside, you will be directed to the first counter to get a Token Number. This number will be displayed on screens, calling you to the next counters.
- Step 2: The "A, B, C" Counters
- Counter A (Biometrics): This is the longest step. A TCS officer will:
- Scan all your original documents.
- Take your live photograph.
- Take your fingerprints.
- Collect your self-attested copy set.
- Counter B (Verification): A senior government official (Verification Officer) will re-check and verify the documents scanned at Counter A.
- Counter C (Granting): The final official (Granting Officer) will review your file and officially "Grant" your passport application.
- Step 3: Exit
- After Counter C, you will go to the final "Exit" counter.
- They will give you an Acknowledgement Letter. This letter is your proof that the process is complete. Please keep this letter safe.
Once the process is completed you will receive your passport within 30 Working Days.
