❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I have zero knowledge of French. Can I really reach B2?
A: Yes. Our "Zero to Hero" program is designed specifically for absolute beginners. We start with ABCs and phonetics. Reaching CLB 7 (B2) typically takes 8 to 10 months of consistent effort (approx. 600 learning hours). It requires dedication, but it is 100% achievable for English speakers.
Q: TEF vs. TCF: Which exam should I target?
A: Both are accepted by IRCC for Canada PR.
- TEF Canada: Often has more frequent exam dates but a slightly harder scoring scale for some.
- TCF Canada: Considered "multiple-choice friendly" by many students, especially for Listening and Reading.
- We prepare you for both, but we will help you pick the best one based on your strengths after Level A2.
Q: How many CRS points will I actually get?
A: It depends on your English scores, but the boost is massive.
- The Skill Points: CLB 7 in French alone adds 12 Core Points.
- The "Combo" Bonus: If you also have high IELTS scores (CLB 5+), you get 50 Bonus Points.
- Total Boost: You could see a massive +62 point jump in your profile.
- Most importantly, CLB 7 makes you eligible for French-Category Draws, where the cutoff score is often much lower than the general pool.
Q: Can I take a break between levels (e.g., A1 and A2)?
A: We don't recommend it. Language learning is about momentum. Taking a month-long break often means forgetting 30% of what you learned. Our "Immigration Ready" bundles are designed to keep you consistent until you hit your goal.
Q: Do you help with booking the exam?
A: Yes. Once you are scoring consistently in our mock tests, we will guide you on how to book your official exam at the nearest Alliance Française or authorized testing centre.
