❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I search for jobs or work in Canada on this visa?

A: You can search and interview for jobs, but you cannot work legally. If you find an employer willing to sponsor you (LMIA), you must apply for a separate Work Permit before you start working.

Q: Do I need a sponsor in Canada to get a visitor visa?

A: No. A sponsor is helpful if you are visiting family, but it is not mandatory for tourists. If you are going for tourism/business, you can apply based on your own financial strength and hotel bookings.

Q: How much bank balance do I need to show?

A: There is no fixed amount set by the government. However, a safe benchmark is approximately CAD $2,000 per week of stay plus the cost of your flights.

Q: Should I book my flight tickets before applying?

A: NO! We strictly advise against buying confirmed tickets until your visa is approved. We will submit a tentative "Travel Itinerary" for the file.

Q: My visa was refused before. Can I apply again?

A: Yes, but do not re-apply with the same documents. We recommend ordering GCMS Notes (Officer's internal notes) first to see the exact reason for rejection, then filing a legal submission to address it.
