Visa and immigration consultants in Bhavnagar, with a door you can walk into

Canadian immigration files here are prepared under a federal licence you can check on a public register, from an office on Hill Drive you can walk into.

The short answer

The Visa Tales has worked from Bhavnagar since 2023, at 307, Victoria Corporate, opp. Gulista Ground, near Sony Showroom, Hill Drive. Canadian files are prepared and filed under RCIC licence R710507, which is a federal Canadian licence rather than a local registration, and anyone can verify it on the CICC public register. Walk in Mon–Fri, 11:00 am – 6:00 pm, or send the file on WhatsApp and never come in at all.

Finding it

Victoria Corporate is on Hill Drive, opposite Gulista Ground and next to the Sony showroom. The practice is on the third floor, at 307.

Most of the work is online, so this is a place to have the conversation rather than somewhere you need to keep returning to. Clients in 40+ countries have never seen the room.

Why the office is here at all

The licence came first, in Canada, in 2021. Bhavnagar came second, in 2023, and for a specific reason: families here were handing passports and savings to agents with no legal standing in the country they were filing into, with nobody to answer to, nothing to lose if the file failed, and no register anyone could check them against.

A federal licence changes what happens when something goes wrong. It can be suspended. It carries obligations to you that a signboard does not. And it is the difference between advice and representation, because only a licensed consultant or a lawyer may act for you before IRCC. Check R710507 on the register before you take our word for any of it.

What is handled from this office

The RCIC licence is Canadian and applies to Canadian files. Work for other countries is handled by the firm under its own name, with the same document standard and no claim to a licence that does not cover it.

Looking for the passport office instead?

A Post Office Passport Seva Kendra issues your Indian passport. It has nothing to do with a visa to another country, and the two get confused constantly. If that is what brought you here, the directory is the faster answer: every passport office in Gujarat, with what each one is for.

IELTS, PTE and TOEFL coaching at this office

TVT Academy runs from this office, and it is the only one of ours that teaches. Courses are one to one rather than in a batch, an hour a day on weekdays for two months, and the first session is a free demo. Sanskruti Sanghavi teaches IELTS, PTE, TOEFL and CELPIP here in person, and the same courses run online for anyone who cannot get to Hill Drive.

Saurashtra towns worked from this office

There is no branch in any of these. Each page says how far the town actually is by road, which of the two Gujarat offices is the shorter drive, and where the district's passport office is, so you can decide whether coming in is worth the morning.

Questions people in Bhavnagar ask

Is there a licensed Canadian immigration consultant in Bhavnagar?

There is a licensed Canadian immigration consultant in Bhavnagar. The Visa Tales works from 307, Victoria Corporate, opp. Gulista Ground, near Sony Showroom, Hill Drive, Bhavnagar, Gujarat 364001, and Canadian files are handled under RCIC licence R710507, a federal Canadian licence you can check yourself on the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants public register. The office has been open since 2023. The check is the part worth doing rather than taking anyone's word for, including ours, because the register is public, free and takes under a minute: search the number, and it returns the name, the status and the date the licence was granted. A category like licensed consultant cannot be verified by anyone. A number can. That distinction matters in a town where a great many offices describe themselves as immigration consultants and very few of them are authorised to represent anybody before IRCC. Ask any consultant you meet for their number, and check it.

Can I just walk in, or do I need an appointment?

Walk-ins are fine during office hours, Mon–Fri, 11:00 am – 6:00 pm, and no appointment is needed to come in and ask a question. There are two situations where a message first is worth the thirty seconds it takes. If you want to speak to a specific consultant rather than whoever is free, say so in advance, because the person you have in mind may be with someone else or out of the office that day. And if you are travelling in from outside Bhavnagar, which most people reading this are, message +91 70417 36376 on WhatsApp before you set off so that somebody is genuinely available when you arrive. A two-hour drive to sit in a waiting room is the outcome that message prevents. Otherwise, come in whenever the office is open and bring whatever documents you have. Bring whatever documents you already have, and bring the questions too.

Do I have to travel to Ahmedabad or Delhi for this?

You do not have to travel to Ahmedabad or Delhi for the work itself. The file is prepared in Bhavnagar and submitted online, so nothing about the application requires you to go anywhere, and clients who live further away than Ahmedabad run their whole case over WhatsApp and video without ever coming in. Biometrics are the one exception, and they are given in person at a VFS Global centre. For most Gujarat applicants that means a single trip to Ahmedabad, once, near the end of the process rather than at the start, and only after a biometric instruction letter arrives with a deadline on it. Nobody needs to make that journey speculatively or early. Delhi is not required at all for a Canadian file from here, whatever you may have been told. We will tell you when that one trip is due, and not before.

Are you immigration lawyers?

We are not immigration lawyers, and it is worth being precise about it rather than letting the word pass. Canadian immigration law lets two kinds of professional represent you before IRCC: lawyers in good standing with a Canadian law society, and Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants. We are the second. The licence is federal, it is checkable on a public register by anyone in under a minute, and for immigration applications it carries the same right to represent you that a lawyer has. In India the word lawyer is often used loosely to mean any qualified professional handling a legal matter, which is why so many people search for an immigration lawyer when what they need is exactly this. The distinction that actually protects you is licensed against unlicensed, not consultant against lawyer. One of those two things is checkable on a register, and the other is a word.

What should I bring to the first meeting?

Bring whatever you already have: passports, marksheets, IELTS or PTE scores, bank statements, and any refusal letter from any country. Nothing on that list is a prerequisite, and turning up with none of it is fine, because the first meeting is a conversation about where you stand rather than a document check. People delay coming in for months while they assemble a perfect folder, and the folder is rarely what changes the advice. One item does change it. If you have been refused before, by any country, the refusal letter is the single most useful document in the room. It says what an officer has already decided about you, in their words rather than in your recollection of the phone call, and everything after it is shaped by that. If you have lost it, ask for the officer's notes before you do anything else.

Where is the passport office in Bhavnagar?

Bhavnagar has a Post Office Passport Seva Kendra, and it is a different thing from a visa consultant. It issues Indian passports and it does not deal with foreign visas at all, so the two are not alternatives and neither one can do the other's job. People conflate them constantly, which is understandable: both involve a passport, a queue and a form. The order matters, though. A passport is the document every visa application is built on, so if yours is expired, close to expiry or short of blank pages, that is the thing to fix first and no amount of visa preparation gets past it. We keep a directory of every passport office in Gujarat, with addresses and the district each one serves, which is the faster answer if that is what you were looking for.
