Canadian immigration work is carried out by Jay Sharma, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, licence R710507. You can check that licence and its standing yourself on the College's public register, and we would rather you did than took our word for it.

For Canada, that licence lets us represent you before IRCC. For the other 40+ countries we prepare and check your application, and the authority there decides it. The difference is a legal one rather than a modest way of putting things, and nobody here will tell you we can represent you somewhere we cannot.

Everything on this site is general information. It is researched and dated, and it is still not advice about your case, because nobody here has seen your documents.

Reading a page, using the calculator or sending an enquiry does not make you a client and puts us under no duty to you. That begins when we have assessed your case and you have signed a retainer agreement. From that point the retainer governs the work, and where it says something different from this page, the retainer is the one that counts.

Consultations are paid. We tell you the fee when you ask to book, before you commit to anything.

If you go on to retain us, the consultation fee is deducted from our professional fee. It is not refundable once the consultation has happened, because by then you have had the thing you paid for, which is an assessment of your case by a licensed consultant.

The professional fee is quoted per file, once we have looked at whether you are eligible. There is no price list here, because a fee quoted before anyone has read your documents is a guess dressed up as a number.

Government fees are not ours and are not included in it. Visa and application fees, biometrics, medicals, language tests, credential assessments, translations and courier charges are paid to the bodies that charge them, at whatever they charge on the day.

We do not find you a job offer and we do not place candidates with employers. Help with a work permit means the application, never the job at the end of it.

We do not guarantee outcomes, and no one can. A visa is granted by an officer applying the rules of the day to your file. A firm that promises you a result is either misunderstanding its own job or lying about it, and both should cost it your business.

We do not prepare a document that says something untrue, or leave out something an officer asked about, and we will end an engagement over it rather than argue. Misrepresentation is the applicant's problem long after it is ours: it is your name on the declaration and your inadmissibility afterwards.

We do not act at the Federal Court. That is where a consultant's authority ends and a lawyer's begins, and if your case has reached it we will tell you so. Which profession can do what is set out on its own page.

Truthful information and genuine documents, including the parts you would rather not raise. An old refusal, a visa application you made through somebody else, a police matter: we can usually work with these, and we cannot work around learning about them from the officer.

Answers and documents in time to meet the deadlines on your file. Some of them cannot be extended by us, by the College, or by anybody.

Your own signature on your own forms. You are the applicant, the declarations are yours, and you carry responsibility for what is on them even where we prepared the file.

The CRS calculator is our own implementation of IRCC's published points grid. It is an estimate for planning, not a score issued by IRCC, and only a real Express Entry profile produces the number that decides anything.

The draw archive, the pool snapshot and the processing times are read from IRCC's own published data, and each carries the date it was read.

Every page that states a fee, a timeline or a rule carries the date a person last checked it. Rules move between checks, and government pages change without notice. Where a page links its official source, that source outranks the page.

Tell us first. Email hello@thevisatales.com and say what went wrong, and you will get an answer from a person rather than a form.

For the Canadian work there is also a route that does not run through us. The College takes complaints about any licensee from anyone, and its process is published on its own site. It looks at professional conduct rather than fees, which the College says plainly: a disagreement about money is for us to sort out with you, and a question of conduct is for them.

These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts at Bhavnagar, Gujarat have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

Nothing here removes a right you hold under Indian law that cannot be contracted away, and nothing here narrows the College's jurisdiction over a licensee's conduct. If one clause on this page turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
