One-to-one IELTS, PTE, TOEFL and CELPIP coaching in Bhavnagar

Why there is no batch
A batch of thirty teaches to the middle of the room. Nobody applying for a visa is in the middle of the room.
Every course is taught one to one. We do not run open batches, because a student who needs CLB 9 in writing for an Express Entry profile and a student who needs an overall 6.0 for a college offer are not doing the same work. If a group of you want to learn together we will form a batch for you. We will not put you into someone else’s.

Which test
Which test you need, before you pay anyone to teach it
The most expensive mistake here is sitting the wrong test well. Four things worth knowing first, each of them read off the government's own page.
Does a Canadian study permit need a language test?
IRCC's document checklist for a study permit does not include a language test. The list is the acceptance letter, the provincial or territorial attestation letter, proof of identity, proof of funds, and a handful of items that depend on your situation. So the test is not a government requirement at the permit stage, which surprises most people who have been told to book one before doing anything else. It is your school that requires it, before it will make you an offer at all, which means the score you need comes from the institution rather than from IRCC. Two things follow. Check the specific score the specific programme asks for rather than a general figure, because they vary widely between colleges and between courses at the same college. And book the test around the admission deadline rather than the visa one, since that is the deadline it actually serves.
Express Entry accepts three English tests and two French ones: CELPIP-General, IELTS General Training and PTE Core for English, TEF Canada and TCF Canada for French. Nothing else counts, whatever a test is worth elsewhere and however well you did on it. That is worth stating flatly, because the list is shorter than people expect and the omissions catch out applicants who have already paid for and sat something else. TOEFL is the usual casualty: it is accepted by universities across Canada and it does nothing at all for an Express Entry profile. IELTS Academic is the other, since the General Training version is the one on the list. Check which specific version of a test you are booking, not only which test, because the two share a name and only one of them scores. Sitting the wrong one costs a fee and several weeks.
For the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program and the Canadian Experience Class, the minimum in your first official language is CLB 7 in all four abilities, or NCLC 7 in French. A second official language needs CLB or NCLC 5 in speaking and listening and 4 in reading and writing. Read those as floors for eligibility rather than as targets, because that is the difference between being allowed into the pool and being invited out of it. A profile sitting at CLB 7 is eligible and, in most recent rounds, nowhere near competitive. The points curve rewards the higher bands steeply, so the same weeks of preparation are worth far more at the top of the scale than at the bottom. Work out the score your target CRS actually needs before you book, rather than the score that lets you apply.
Language test results must be less than two years old both when you complete your Express Entry profile and when you submit your application for permanent residence. Two moments, one clock, and that is where this catches people. A result that is comfortably valid on the day you enter the pool can expire while you are waiting for an invitation, which leaves you holding an invitation you cannot act on and a test you have to sit again under time pressure. It is the quiet failure on this route, and it is entirely avoidable. The way to avoid it is to sit the test when the rest of the file is close to ready rather than years ahead of it, so that the two-year window covers the whole process instead of only the beginning of it. Plan the test date backwards from the application, not forwards from today.

How much does IELTS coaching cost in Bhavnagar?
IELTS coaching at TVT Academy costs ₹15,000 for a two-month course. That is one hour a day on weekdays, about 40 hours in total, taught one to one rather than in a batch. PTE is ₹12,000 on the same schedule, and TOEFL and CELPIP are ₹15,000. The hourly arithmetic is the part worth doing before comparing us with anywhere else: 40 hours of individual teaching at ₹15,000 works out at ₹375 an hour, which is less than most group programmes charge per hour once you divide their fee by the sessions actually delivered. What the price does not include is the test fee itself, which is paid to the test provider rather than to us. Do you teach IELTS online?
Every TVT Academy course is available online, anywhere, on the same one-to-one basis as the classroom. It is the same teacher, the same hour a day and the same course rather than a reduced version for people who cannot come in. The alternative is in person at our Bhavnagar office on Hill Drive, and students move between the two during a course without any fuss when work or travel makes it easier. The first session is a free demo either way, which is the sensible place to decide whether online suits you, because some people concentrate better on a screen and some need the room. Online matters most for the speaking work, and it turns out to be no worse: the exam itself is often taken on a computer, so practising that way is closer to the real thing rather than further from it.
Is IELTS or PTE better for Canada?
IRCC accepts both, so neither is better in the government's eyes and the choice comes down to how you test rather than which is stronger. PTE Core is marked by computer and records your speaking, which suits people who freeze in front of an examiner, and results come back quickly, which matters if you are working to a deadline. IELTS General Training puts you in front of a human examiner and is accepted in more places outside Canada, which is the deciding factor if the same score also has to serve a university application or a second country. Think about which of those describes you before booking. Someone whose spoken English is fluent but who tightens up under a person's gaze will score higher on PTE for reasons that have nothing to do with English. The reverse is just as true.
Is TOEFL accepted for Canada PR?
TOEFL is not accepted for Express Entry, and this is the most expensive misunderstanding in the language-test part of the process. IRCC's approved list is CELPIP-General, IELTS General Training and PTE Core for English, and TEF Canada or TCF Canada for French. TOEFL is not on it and no score on it will help a permanent residence profile. Where the confusion comes from is that TOEFL is widely accepted by Canadian universities and colleges, so it is genuinely the right test for an admission. It is simply the wrong one for permanent residence. If your plan runs from a study permit through to Express Entry, you will need two different tests at two different points, and it is worth knowing that at the start rather than discovering it after you graduate. We teach both, and we will tell you which one you actually need.
Do you run batch classes for IELTS?
Every course at TVT Academy is taught one to one rather than in a batch. The reason is not exclusivity, it is that the students want different things. Someone who needs CLB 9 in writing for a competitive Express Entry profile and someone who needs an overall 6.0 for a college offer are doing completely different work, and a shared syllabus serves neither of them well: one spends weeks on material they already have, the other is carried past the thing they are weakest at. Individual teaching means the hours go where your score is actually losing marks, which for most students is one or two abilities rather than all four. If a group of you want to learn together, friends or family working to the same target, we will form a batch for that group. What we will not do is assemble strangers into one.
