What it is accepted for

IRCC accepts TEF Canada and TCF Canada as proof of French for Express Entry, and measures French on the NCLC scale rather than the CLB.

Who it suits

Express Entry candidates above everything else. French is the one language on this page that pays for itself in points: a candidate with French as a second official language collects CRS points an English-only candidate cannot, and IRCC has run category-based rounds for French-language proficiency.

What it will not do

Getting to a level that scores takes longer than any English course on this page. NCLC 7 across four abilities is real work from a standing start, and anyone selling it as a quick win is selling something else.
