Two offices in Gujarat, and the towns they cover

The Visa Tales has two offices in Gujarat: 307, Victoria Corporate, opp. Gulista Ground, near Sony Showroom, Hill Drive, Bhavnagar, Gujarat 364001, and 902, Elite Business Hub, beside Audi, Sarkhej–Gandhinagar Highway, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380061. Both are open Mon–Fri, 11:00 am – 6:00 pm and both take walk-ins during those hours. Canadian files from either are prepared under RCIC licence R710507, which is a federal Canadian licence you can check on the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants public register in about a minute. It is one practice rather than two, with one team and one phone number, so which office you deal with makes no difference to who handles your case or how it is prepared. The only thing it decides is where you would go if you wanted to sit across a desk from somebody. Everything else runs over WhatsApp, email and video for clients who would rather not make the drive. Both addresses are real doors you can walk through, not a listing.

The Visa Tales has offices in Bhavnagar and Ahmedabad, and no branches in any other Gujarat city. The 32 towns listed on this page are places the practice works with from those two offices, not places it has a door in. Each town's page states the road distance to both offices rather than implying a local presence, which is a deliberate choice: the competitor pages this answers routinely read as though a firm has an office in every town they name, and people drive to addresses that turn out to be nothing. If that ever changes for us, the new office will appear here with an address and opening hours on it. Until it does, the honest answer is two offices and a lot of work done remotely. The distances on each page are measured by road rather than estimated.

Distance changes nothing about what a file costs or how it is handled. The work is the same document review and the same licensed representation whether you walk in every week or never come in at all, and it is priced the same way for everybody. There is no travel charge, no rural surcharge and no reduced service for somebody four hours away. Most of the practice already runs on WhatsApp and video, including clients on other continents in entirely different time zones, so a few hundred kilometres inside Gujarat is not a meaningful obstacle to any part of it. The one journey the process itself requires is biometrics at a visa application centre, once, near the end, and that trip would be the same whoever prepared your application. If a consultancy quotes you differently for being far away, ask what part of the work the extra money buys.

Most of Gujarat gives biometrics in Ahmedabad, which holds the state's only Canada visa application centre. The far south is the exception, and it is the exception worth knowing about. For Navsari, Valsad, Vapi the nearest centre is Mumbai, and the difference is large enough to change how you plan the trip, since Vapi is 166 km from Mumbai against 354 to Ahmedabad. Sending somebody from Vapi to Ahmedabad by reflex, because Ahmedabad is the Gujarat answer, doubles a journey for no reason. Canada runs ten centres in India and none of them is in Surat, which surprises people from the south of the state. Biometrics are given in person, once, after a biometric instruction letter arrives with a deadline on it. Nobody needs to make that trip early, or speculatively, and each town page carries its own distance to the centre that would decide the journey.
