Visa and immigration consultants in Ahmedabad, with a licence number to check
Canadian files from our Sarkhej–Gandhinagar Highway office are prepared under a federal licence listed on a public register. Anyone can check it, including you, before you pay anybody anything.
The short answer
The Visa Tales works from 902, Elite Business Hub, beside Audi, Sarkhej–Gandhinagar Highway, open Mon–Fri, 11:00 am – 6:00 pm. Canadian applications are prepared and filed under RCIC licence R710507, a federal Canadian licence rather than a local registration, and one you can look up on the CICC public register in about a minute. Ahmedabad is also where Gujarat gives biometrics, so for most applicants in the state the file and the appointment end up in the same city.

Gujarat gives its biometrics here
A Canadian temporary resident application needs biometrics, meaning fingerprints and a photograph, given in person at a Visa Application Centre. Gujarat’s is in Ahmedabad. So whether you file from Rajkot, Surat, Bhavnagar or Gandhinagar, one trip to this city is already part of the process.
That is a scheduling fact rather than a sales pitch: the appointment comes after the application is submitted and the letter asking for it arrives, so it is not a reason to come in early. Book it through VFS Global’s own site, never through anyone who offers to sell you a slot.
What is handled from this office
One question worth asking anyone
Ahmedabad does not lack immigration offices. What it lacks is a habit of checking them. Canadian law is unusually clear on this: only a lawyer, a Quebec notary, or a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant may represent you before IRCC, and every consultant’s licence is published on a register anyone can search.

Looking for the passport office instead?
Ahmedabad has one of Gujarat’s two Regional Passport Offices, and it issues Indian passports, which is a different thing from a visa to another country, and the two get confused constantly. If that is what brought you here, the directory is the faster answer.

Where is your Ahmedabad office?
Our Ahmedabad office is at 902, Elite Business Hub, beside Audi, Sarkhej–Gandhinagar Highway, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380061. It is on the ninth floor, beside the Audi showroom on the Sarkhej–Gandhinagar Highway, and it is open Mon–Fri, 11:00 am – 6:00 pm. The landmark is more useful than the address on that stretch of road, because the highway runs for kilometres and the buildings along it look much alike from a car. Walk-ins are fine during those hours and no appointment is needed to come in with a question. If you are driving in from outside the city, or you want to speak to a particular consultant rather than whoever is free, a message first means somebody is genuinely available when you arrive rather than in a meeting. There is parking in the building. The Bhavnagar office is the alternative if that turns out to be the shorter drive for you.
Do I have to come to Ahmedabad for biometrics?
For a Canadian application, biometrics are given in person at a Visa Application Centre, and Gujarat's only one is in Ahmedabad. So most applicants in the state make one trip to this city regardless of who prepares their file, and there is no way to give biometrics remotely or to have somebody do it for you. Two things follow that are worth knowing before you plan around it. The trip comes near the end of the process rather than the start, after a biometric instruction letter arrives with a deadline on it, so nobody needs to travel speculatively. And temporary residence applicants give biometrics once every ten years, so if you gave them recently for another Canadian application you may not need to give them again at all. Check before you book anything. One trip, on a date the letter gives you, is the whole of it.
How is this different from the agents on SG Highway?
One checkable thing separates us from an unlicensed agent. Canadian files here are handled under RCIC licence R710507, a federal Canadian licence listed on the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants public register, which anybody can search for free in about a minute. An unlicensed agent cannot represent you before IRCC at all, has no regulator standing behind them, and faces no consequence if your file fails or if the experience letter they wrote turns into a misrepresentation ban you carry for five years. That is the difference, and it is not a claim about who works harder or cares more. Ask anyone you are considering for their licence number, then look it up. Do it for us as readily as for the office next door, because a number you can check is the only part of this that is not marketing.
Can you handle my file if I live outside Ahmedabad?
We handle files for people who live outside Ahmedabad, and most of our clients do. The work is document-led and runs over WhatsApp and email, so distance changes very little about how a case is prepared or how quickly it moves. The firm has handled 118+ cases for clients in 40+ countries, which is the practical evidence that a file does not need anybody in the room. There is also a second Gujarat office in Bhavnagar if that turns out to be the closer drive. The only journey the process itself forces on you is biometrics at the visa application centre here, once, near the end, and that would be true whoever prepared the application. Everything before it can be done from where you are. Send the first message from wherever you are and we will tell you whether a visit would add anything at all.
Is the Ahmedabad passport office the same thing as a visa centre?
The Ahmedabad passport office and a visa centre are different places doing different jobs, and there are three of them people mix up rather than two. The Regional Passport Office issues your Indian passport, which is the document every application afterwards is built on. A Visa Application Centre takes biometrics and collects documents for another country's visa, and has no involvement in issuing Indian passports. And a consultant prepares the application itself, which neither of the other two does or is allowed to advise on. Ahmedabad happens to have all three within the same city, which is exactly why the confusion starts here and why people arrive at one expecting it to do the work of another. Sort out the passport first, then the application, then the biometrics appointment the process asks for. Doing them out of order is the most common wasted month we see.
