❓ Verified Official FAQs
Q: Do I need to upload flight tickets or hotel bookings?
A: No. You do not need to upload these documents for the visa application itself. We just need the name of the airport and hotel to fill the form. (Note: Immigration officers may ask to see your return ticket on arrival, so have it on your phone when you travel).
Q: Can I take a photo with my phone?
A: Yes. As long as you stand against a plain white wall, have good lighting (no shadows), and remove your glasses, a phone photo is perfectly fine, But a studio photo is highly recommended.
Q: I have a US/UK Visa. Is Vietnam Visa-free?
A: No. Indians always need a visa for Vietnam, regardless of other visas held.
Q: Can I extend my stay once I am there?
A: No. The E-Visa is non-extendable. You must exit and re-apply
